ABOUT THE PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

The Pre-Professional Program prepares committed and gifted students in grades 4–12 for college and/or a professional career in the performing arts, led by a highly qualified faculty. The Pre-Professional Program curriculum provides students with inclusive training in singing, dancing, acting, and performance.

AUDITION PROCESS & APPLICATION

New students are accepted into the program by audition only. ATMTC Academy faculty and staff evaluate each student based on singing, dancing, and acting ability. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of ATMTC Academy faculty and staff.

The Pre-Professional Program admits a finite number of students to its program each season and accepts into its companies only those students who possess and demonstrate exceptional talent and ability in singing, dancing, and acting.  Students who have not taken ATMTC Academy technique classes may struggle with meeting the acceptance standards of the Pre-Professional Program.

Perspective Pre-Professional company members are strongly encouraged to enroll in ATMTC Academy technique classes in ballet, jazz, tap, acting, and voice.

2017–2018 Auditions will be held on the following days and times:

-

July 8, 2017 (noon–3 pm)

-

July 30, 2017 (noon–3 pm)

-

August 17, 2017 (4–6 pm)

New students must submit a $35 non-refundable application fee upon registering to audition and bring an application, headshot, and resume to ATMTC Academy on the day of their audition. Please visit the Student Auditions page for more information on auditioning.

A fully-produced annual revue show, Spotlight, takes place in late Spring at the conclusion of each year. In addition, company members perform in special VIP events throughout the season, as well as other master classes and performing opportunities.
