Plan Your Trip

-

All Field Trips to see our Professional Productions are at our Main Stage Theatre located inside Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, MD. The address is: 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD 20812.

-

Please plan to arrive at the theatre at least 30 minutes before the show. Plan on a 10 minute walk through the park from the parking lot to the theatre.  Please arrive promptly; we cannot hold a performance for late arrivals.

-

All vehicles/buses MUST park in the parking lot off Oxford Road.  From the parking lot, walk your group over the foot bridge and up the path to the Dentzel Carousel.  Adventure Theatre MTC is located to the left of the Carousel at the far end of the Arcade Building. Click here for a map.

-

***We will not seat groups who are more than 10 minutes late to a performance.  If you are refused seating because your group is more than 10 minutes late, you will not be provided any kind of refund or credit. Please plan ahead.***

Ticketing Requirements

-

A minimum of 10 (ten) people is required to be considered a group. If you would like to purchase less than ten tickets, you may do so by purchasing individual tickets, purchasing a flexpass, or calling our Box Office at 301.634.2270.

-

Everyone seeing the show requires a purchased ticket – this includes students, teachers, and chaperones.  The ticket price will be the same for all attending in your group.  Please account for all of these people when making your ticket reservation.

-

You must return the Field Trip contract e-mailed to you within 48 hours to confirm your trip.  You may cancel your trip without penalty within 48 hours of booking.

-

Tickets may only be updated by calling 301-634-2271, pending there is space available in the theatre. Tickets added less than three weeks before the show you are scheduled to see must be paid in full when you call to add them to your order.

Payment Requirements

-

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total is due within two weeks of booking your field trip to reserve your tickets to the show. Payment is due in full at least three weeks before the show you are scheduled to see.

Your Group

-

We will always try to seat your group together, but we cannot always guarantee this will be possible. Please arrive early so we can always do our best to seat you accordingly.

-

If members of your group require wheelchair accessible seating or have any other special seating needs, please let us know at the time of booking so we can do our best to plan ahead to accommodate the requests of all of our groups visiting in the day.

-

Indoor spaces are available for rental if you would like to have lunch indoors – please let us know if you are interested in doing this and we can check if space is available. Payment must be received in full for your rental with your 50% ticket deposit.

Inclement Weather

-

ATMTC Professional Productions are rarely canceled because of inclement weather.  The decision to close Glen Echo Park is made by the National Park Service and The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture.  If a performance is canceled for any reason, we will make every possible attempt to reschedule your Field Trip. If we are not successful in rescheduling your trip, we will give you a credit for another show in the same season.

-

If your school is closed due to inclement weather, please call the theatre to notify us.  In cases of inclement weather, we will do our best to reschedule your Field Trip but please note all payments are non-refundable.

Theatre Policies

-

ATMTC does not permit food or beverage inside the theatre.  If you plan on picnicking after the show, please bring all student lunches together in one container.  These can be left in the lobby during the performance for pick-up after the show.

-

All cell phones must be turned off before the show begins.

-

The use of cameras, video equipment, phones and other recording devices is strictly prohibited at ATMTC during all performances.

-

We only have two single-stall restrooms in the lobby of the theatre. If you have a large group of people who need to use the restroom after the show, we suggest that you walk to the brick building across from the picnic area where many other restrooms are available.
