Conservatory at ATMTC Academy

Pre-Professional Program

Grades 6–12

The Conservatory at ATMTC Academy’s Pre-Professional Program prepares committed and gifted students in grades 6–12 for college and/or a professional career in the performing arts, led by a highly qualified faculty. The Pre-Professional Program curriculum provides students with inclusive training in Acting, Music, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Voice & Speech, and Performance.

In accordance with current government guidelines, we will plan to facilitate the Pre-Professional Program in-person for the 2021-2022 season. We will continue to stay up to date on local, state, and federal recommendations.

New students are accepted into the program by audition only. ATMTC Academy faculty and staff evaluate each student based on singing, dancing, and acting ability. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of ATMTC Academy faculty and staff.

The Pre-Professional Program admits a finite number of students to its program each season and accepts only those students who possess and demonstrate exceptional talent and ability in singing, dancing, and acting.  The Pre-Professional program is ideally suited for students who have experience in technique training, such as ATMTC’s Conservatory program, and are interested in pursuing musical theatre through college or career.

2021–2022 in-person auditions will be held on the following days and times:

  • August 15: 12:00 – 3:00PM
  • September 1: 4:00 – 6:00PM
Digital audition submissions accepted through July 31st. Click here for audition instructions.

New students must submit a $35 non-refundable application fee upon registering to audition and bring an application, headshot, and resume to ATMTC Academy on the day of their audition. Please visit the student auditions page for more information on auditioning.
