Beginners welcome! This class will challenge beginners to use their physical and vocal instruments in tandem with their imaginations. Students will explore improvisation, active listening and response, character, objectives, tactics, and more foundational skill sets.
Appropriate for intermediate actors who have some foundational skills under their belt (improvisation, objectives, tactics), this class will focus on two important skill sets: scene/text analysis and partnered scene work. Participants will dive into guided text analysis and rehearsal under the coaching of a professional actor. The class culminates with a final showcase performance of the scenes they will be workshopping during the semester.
