ATMTC Academy’s Elementary Programs are a wonderful introduction for students interested in musical theatre performance.
Elementary classes introduce students to age-appropriate vocabulary and skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Each class culminates in a sharing for family and friends where students have the opportunity to demonstrate their learning and growth.
A great introduction to musical theatre! This class will include basic vocabulary, simple vocal instruction, and simple dance combinations through age-appropriate material and instruction. Students will learn and song and dance combination to share at the end of each semester.

Broadway Prep delves further into the craft of musical theater performance by teaching students to convey emotion and character in song, scene, and movement. Working on developing these skills individually and as an ensemble, students will learn to analyze scripts and songs for performance, learn correct terminology, and illustrate an understanding of musical theater basics.

Bridge to Broadway offers continued training in musical theater performance for students in 4th and 5th grades. The class includes more specific and challenging instruction in the three areas of musical theater performance. Lessons include an extension of range and character development through physical and vocal exploration, more complex dance combinations, lyrical and text analysis, improvisation techniques and the continued study of an ensemble.
