ATMTC Academy’s Elementary Programs are a wonderful introduction for students interested in musical theatre performance. Elementary classes introduce students to age-appropriate vocabulary and skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Each class culminates in a sharing for family and friends where students have the opportunity to demonstrate their learning and growth.
No classes Monday, April 11 – April 17 for Academy Spring Break.
The best way to introduce your young thespian to the genre of musical theater! This class will include stage performance basics, vocal instruction, and simple dance combinations through age-appropriate musical scenes and songs.
Go deeper into the craft of musical theatre performance by learning to convey emotion and character in song, scene and movement. Working on developing these skills individually and as an ensemble, students will learn to analyze scripts and songs for performance, learn correct terminology, and illustrate an understanding of musical theater basics.

Bridge to Broadway includes more specific and challenging instruction in the three areas of musical theater performance. Students focus on character development through physical and vocal exploration, dance combinations, musical theatre audition preparation, lyric and text analysis, improvisation techniques and the continued study of ensemble.
