Conservatory Track

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 13 – December 6 (no class 11/22 or 11/24)
  • Mondays and Wednesdays and Saturdays, September 12 – December 8 (no class 11/21 – 11/26)

Designed for the serious young artist who has sharpened their focus and concentration on a specific discipline or practice, Conservatory Tracks offer participants the opportunity to study  alongside a cohort of like-minded students. With options to enhance skills as an actor, dancer, singer, and our celebrated “combination triple threat”, Conservatory Tracks provide our most committed young artists with rigor and intensity to concentrate their out of school time to advance their well-rounded musical theatre craft.

Acting Track

Designed for young artists whose main focus is acting, this track challenges actors through intensive scene study and performance while reinforcing the foundational skills of improvisation, physical movement, and voice and speech. Participants in the acting track will develop healthy habits to care for their physical, vocal, and mental instruments while sharpening their characterization, relationships, and active listening skills.

Who: Grades 8 – 12 with prior acting training/experience that includes improvisation and scripted scene work.

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:45pm

Cost: $875 (includes all teaching materials, 30 hours of instruction, and one complimentary ticket to each production that runs during the course of the class)

Dance Track

For the young artist aspiring to be a well-rounded dancer, this class will equip dancers with foundations in ballet, jazz, and tap. Under the guidance of professional dancers and choreographers, participants will gain valuable instruction in form, technique, positions, and movement as they expand their Broadway dance skill sets.

Who: Grades 8 – 12 with some prior dance training/experience in one of the following dance styles: ballet, tap, or jazz

When: Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:45pm and Saturdays from 9:30 – 10:45am

Cost: $1275 (includes all teaching materials, 45 hours of instruction, and one complimentary ticket to each production that runs during the course of the class)

Music/Song Track

If belting out showtunes is your thing and you’re good at it, this class will help you become great! With guidance of a professional music director, participants will use the entire American musical songbook to build on their foundational skills and understandings of pitch, diction, and breath to expand their range and power while acquiring a comprehensive understanding of Broadway music’s influences and evolution.

Who: Grades 8 – 12 with some prior vocal training/experience

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:45pm

Cost: $875 (includes all teaching materials, 30 hours of instruction, and one complimentary ticket to each production that runs during the course of the class)
