Broadway Baby, Saturdays, in Wintergreen Plaza

The best way to introduce your young thespian to the genre of musical theater! This class will include stage performance basics, vocal instruction, and simple Broadway dance combinations by creating and using age-appropriate musical scenes. No pre-requisite or placement is required for this course. (Advancement level option after two semesters, or by instructor permission: Broadway Prep.)

Meet the Instructor

Mary Beth Luckenbaugh holds a B.M. in Musical Theatre from Catholic University and is currently pursuing her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education and dual licensure in Early Childhood Special Education and Pre-K–3rd Grade General Education from George Mason University. She is currently a student teacher in preschool special education with Alexandria City Public Schools. As an actor, Mary Beth has worked with 1st Stage, Keegan Theatre, Quotidian Theatre, American Century Theatre, and Adventure Theatre MTC (Spot's Birthday Party, Goodnight Moon, Garfield).
