ATMTC presents a celebration of API Heritage with a full lineup of API Heritage Month story times, interviews, and digital presentations. These online events honor the creativity, tradition, and innovation of the Asian Pacific Islander population and focus upon the impact they continue to make daily through their art. All presentations are free and available streaming live on Facebook.
ATMTC celebrates the arts and contributions from African-Americans with readings of family-friendly poetry and/or stories. These are followed by honest discussions about race, racism, how to express yourself, love, bullying, and pain.
ATMTC honors Pride Month with a message of hope from LGBTQ+ actors and performers in the Washington, DC area. This feature is inspired by the IT GETS BETTER Project.
ATMTC celebrates all the work developed during COVID and previews these works that will provide a rich pipeline of productions after the pandemic. Tune in for sneak peaks, creative presentations, and discussions of everything we’ve worked so hard on with special guest appearances!
ATMTC commemorates World Toilet Day throughout the weekend, beginning Thursday with a release of a music video titled “Let’s Talk about Poop.” This production features Philip Chung—playwright of upcoming production Poop: The Musical—and the Fairfax County Wastewater Management team.
ATMTC celebrates the new year with a digital production featuring a selection of songs from some its favorite performers: Justine Icy Moral*, Sarah Anne Sillers, Bekah Zornsa, Da’Von Moody, and Karen Vincent*. This special episode hopes to uplift children and families in every community and offer lighthearted joy in uncertain times with talent of local artists.
