Celebrate Jewish Culture and Stories with Adventure Theatre this Sunday! During this double feature, guest host Robyn Shrater Seemann will sit down with Deborah Lakritz, author of Joey and The Giant Box and Say Hello Lily, at 2PM ET and Faygie Holt, best-selling Jewish children’s author, at 3PM ET. 

Deborah Lakritz holds a Master’s Degree in social work and has worked as a school social worker and family life educator. She is the mother of five young adults, and the grandmother of three. You can find her writing picture books, middle grade, and young adult novels in a cafe somewhere in Wisconsin. She is represented by Susan Cohen of Writers House. Faygie Holt is an award-winning journalist, whose news and feature stories have been published worldwide and translated into several different languages. Among her awards is a Simon Rockower Award for Outstanding Feature Writing from the American Jewish Press Association. Faygie’s books focus on the power of friendship, discovering your inner strength and tackle real-world challenges including bullying, economic hardships, learning disabilities and more.
