Online Classroom: Caroline’s Elementary Classroom
This class will include basic vocabulary, simple vocal instruction, and simple dance combinations through age-appropriate material and instruction. Students will learn an age-appropriate song and dance combination.
Broadway Prep delves further into the craft of musical theater performance by teaching students to convey emotion and character in song, scene, and movement. Students will learn to analyze scripts and songs for performance, learn correct terminology, and illustrate an understanding of musical theater basics.
Bridge to Broadway offers continued training in musical theater performance for students in 4th and 5th grades. The class includes more specific and challenging instruction in the three areas of musical theater performance. Lessons include an extension of range and character development through physical and vocal exploration, more complex dance combinations, lyrical and text analysis, improvisation techniques and the continued study of an ensemble.
