Ticketing Policies

BEFORE YOU PURCHASE, FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH ATMTC’S POLICIES.

These ticket policies apply to all ticket purchases whether you are coming to see a Student Production or Professional Production.

COVID Protocols

As we move to indoor performances and in the spirit of protecting the most vulnerable in our community, a few friendly reminders:

  • Adventure Theatre requires everyone over the age of two years old attending its shows to wear a mask and remain masked while in our facility.
  • A proof of vaccination will be required for admission for all individuals ages 12 and up.
  • Any customer 12 and up without proof of vaccination will not be granted access to the performance.
  • ATMTC has updated its HVAC and utilizes mobile HEPA filters to maximize the air turnover rate in our space.
  • Our staff and performers are 100% vaccinated.

Refunds

All sales are final, no refunds are available.

Seating

Doors open for performances approximately ten to fifteen (10–15) minutes before performances begin. Seating for Professional Productions in Glen Echo Park is general admission. If you are bringing a group of five or more to the theatre, please arrive early so that the House Management Staff can do their best to seat your group together.

Note: ATMTC’s booked birthday parties may reserve seating in the theatre.

Technology

 To make the experience enjoyable for all, please turn off anything that buzzes, jingles, or beeps prior to entering the theatre.

Photography and Videography

To protect our artists and their work, photography and videography inside the theater is strictly prohibited. Photos taken in the lobby are encouraged as the actors may appear after the show for a meet and greet.

Latecomers

To ensure the enjoyability of the show to all, late seating is very difficult. To guarantee seats, patrons must arrive and be in the box office line at least 15 minutes prior to show. Patrons that arrive after that are not guaranteed seating and may be rescheduled to another performance.

Accompaniment & Ticket Age Requirements

Free admission for children under the age of 1.* All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Food & Beverage

To keep our space safe and clean ATMTC does not permit food or beverage inside the theatre, even for our Pajama Parties or Special Events.

Ticket Exchange Policy

Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same title up to 48 hours (two-business days) before the performance you are scheduled to attend. If you are exchanging your tickets for a date earlier than listed on your ticket, simply contact the box office 24 hours before the day you wish to attend. 

There will be a service charge for changing tickets.

All exchanges are subject to availability and must be done in person or by phone. 

Ticket Exchange Limitations

Ticket exchanges are not allowed for Group Ticket Sales of ten or more, further restrictions may apply according to the particular group contract.  We do not accept ticket exchanges via e-mail.

Missed Performances

We’re sorry you couldn’t make the show.  If you know before curtain, you can give your tickets to a friend.  Please make sure to give your friend your order number.

You’re also able to donate your tickets back to the theatre eligible for a tax deduction.

ATMTC does not offer credits for missed performances.  There are no refunds. 

Inclement Weather Policy

ATMTC Professional Productions are rarely canceled because of inclement weather.  The decision to close Glen Echo Park is made by the National Park Service and The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. 

If a performance is canceled for reason’s beyond ATMTC’s control, we will work with you to reschedule your tickets to a later performance.

You are also able to donate your tickets back to the theatre eligible for a tax deduction.

There are no refunds. 

Disruptive Behavior

We are a theatre for young audiences and kids often share their thoughts and feelings aloud.  We understand and should all be accepting of kids reacting to the show.

We also ask patrons to be courteous to others. If your children become upset or significantly disruptive, please exit the theatre quietly into our lobby until they can calmly reenter. An HD Screen playing the performance is available to view the show from the lobby.

During our Autism/Sensory-Friendly performances, we allow patrons to express themselves more freely.

Pick-up of Tickets

Tickets are only available at will call starting one hour before the performance for which you have tickets.  We will not send anything through the mail and tickets cannot be picked up prior to one hour before your selected performance.

Wheelchair Access

ATMTC offers wheelchair accessible seating for each performance.  If you or anyone in your party requires this, we ask that you please notify the Box Office in advance for arrangements.

Ticketing Discounts

When discounts are available, they cannot be applied to an order retroactively and cannot be combined with any other discounts including group discounts.
