Join us for our musical theater classes designed specifically for the elementary age.

Sing, Dance, Act!, Grades K–1

The best way to introduce your young thespian to the genre of musical theater! This class will include stage performance basics, vocal instruction, and simple Broadway dance combinations by creating and using age-appropriate musical scenes.

 
 
Broadway Prep, Grades 2–3

Broadway Prep delves further into the craft of musical theater performance by teaching students to convey emotion and character in song, scene and movement. Working on developing these skills individually and as an ensemble, students will learn to analyze scripts and songs for performance, learn correct terminology, and illustrate an understanding of musical theater basics.

 
 
Bridge to Broadway, Grades 4–5

Bridge to Broadway offers continued training in musical theater performance for students in 4th and 5th grades. The class includes more specific and chal lenging instruction in the three areas of musical theater performance. Lessons include extension of range and character development through physical and vocal exploration, the formal study of ballet and jazz, musical theatre audition preparation, lyrical and text analysis, improvisation techniques and the continued study of ensemble.
